On Thursday Feb. 3, I met Valerie. She is currently a freshmen at CSULB. It was fun talking to her, she told me she was born and raised in Long Beach. Valerie was originally going to be an art major, but she decided to change to a biology major. She still loves art, so she wants to be a medical illustrator. I thought that was so cool. I wanted to be a chemistry major, but it’s too hard for me. I found Valerie outgoing and easy to talk to. We talked about a lot of stuff and i found out things like her favorite color, which is caramel brown because its such a warm color. We also talked about last weeks activity, graffiti writing. We agreed that it was pretty hard to do, she wanted to go to Venice Beach but couldn’t find anyone to go with. Than i found out that we had things in common like we both wear eye contacts and hate everything history. When we would go to history class, it would be so hard to stay awake. We did have things that we didn’t have in common such as her loving roller coaster, but hate heights. I’m the opposite i love heights, but can’t do roller coaster. The first time she found out she hated heights was when she went rock climbing in Newport beach as a kid. Half way up, she looked down and knew she couldn’t do it. Even though she can’t do heights she is into sports, in her free time she would play rugby with her friends. It was very interesting to learn about her and i hope to talk to her again.
